Many of you may be aware of the devastating wildfire that ripped through Boulder County, Colorado just before New Year, destroying almost 1,000 homes and forcing tens of thousands to evacuate.
This particular tragedy has hit close to the heart of The Rankin Effect. Our co-owner Jane (@zhenyaschmidt) was one of those who had to evacuate, losing her home and everything in it.
Many people have contacted us to ask how they can help Jane and her family get back on track. We have two options.
Help For the Victims:
Firstly, you can donate directly via Jane’s Venmo (details at the bottom of this post). Every donation, no matter how small, helps when trying to purchase all the basics for a home.
Secondly, The Rankin Effect has collaborated with Fandom-Made.com to create a range of The Rankin Effect-themed merchandise, Fandom-Made.com. Between today (Wednesday 12th January) and Monday the 17th of January, 15% of the profits of every one of these items sold will be donated to Jane and her family, with any excess passed on to other families in need.
