Hello Everyone.. I have a semi-serious question for all you Richard Rankin Fans.
So I was thinking.. There are quite a few Richard Rankin fan sites out there.. and they all have their own names, and quirks, and followers. But shouldn’t we as a group of fans, have a fan name? Think about it.. What are Richard Rankin fans called?
I know we are knew here and we certainly don’t want to step on anyones toes, but we should be united in supporting Richard don’t you think?
We know the other fan-sites (just because we are a new fan-site, doesn’t mean we haven’t been a fan of Richard for a while now), and we can all fangirl in our own way (there is no right way or wrong way to fan-girl), but his fan base should have a united fandom name.
I have asked Richard this question, and he was kinda quiet for a bit and then did say he think’s there is a fandom name, but he wasn’t sure. I mean fans of the Netflix show Lucifer have a name, #Lucifans, Twilight fans have a few names Twihards Twilighters, Shadowhunters fans are Angels.. Sam Heughan’s fans have a name #Heughligans or Heughan’s Heughligans. Sophie’s fans are known as Sophisticats, But what are we the loyal Richard Rankin Fans?
We have a few ideas and a couple of suggestions. I think we should vote on it, and see how it rolls off the tongue. We know we are all under #TheRankinEffect, and a few people (myself included) have started using #TheRankin, but those can’t really be a proper fandom name..
